Well, I've gone to Fort Boise about 5 times since the last update. And no this is not because I'm a lazy ho-bag. Back To Fort

Well, to start off my kick-ass four-day weekend a few friends and I went down to Fort Boise Skatepark.

The last time I'd gone there, I'd bruised my tail bone and couldn't skate for the last of hour of my time. Although I was down and out I met Navarre. He's a smart-ass, but he kind of kept me company while I was injured. I watched him do a fiew tricks and asked if I could take a few pictures. So I get out my camera and right as I'm about to take the pic "Beepbeepbeep," the batery died! So I promised him that I'd see him again and get some pics and today I upheld that promise. I also met a few other guys as well...

    Almost "Sponsored" Photography

When I went to Tully skatepark today I met a few friends, skated a little, and just hung out. About two hours later I desided to hit the road. As I walked up to my backpack I started to chat with a skater's dad about taking snapshots at Fort Boise. So long story short we ended up headin to Fort to take some pics of this awesome little skater-dude. (Alost got paid too. ^.^) Oh yeah, his name was Dylan Shotwell.

    Jeremy Kickflips The Angel Nine!

Well, I've been talking with a friend of mine about getting some sweet snapshots of him clearing a local nine-set (The Angel Nine). So this past Friday I took hold of my chance and got some shots of it.

After taking the pictures we discussed maybe making a sponsor-me tape with me as the editor/photographer. ^.^

Jeremy warms up and clears the nine.

The 1st Ever Pro Was Here

[This "article" is a series of multiple articles put together, just so you know.]

As I strolled into Rhodes skate park the sun glistened off the concrete and the sound of buzzing wheels rang in my ears. One thing stood out to me like a booy in the middle of the ocean...a man of what I assumed to be 40 was spinning in continuous circles. Not just any circle that a skater would turn around in but actually spinning, almost like an ice skater does. I casually skated over to the bench next to the man and waited for him to finish. I counted to 25 before the man stopped took a break.
"How the hell do you do that?" I asked.
"After 45 years of skating I aught' to know," he replied.
I was stunned! I knew that he had to be an "old school" skater, but 45 years!
After awhile of watching him freestyle like he was at Kona skatepark, I finally asked if he was sponsored, or had won any compititions.
"Two guiness world records, almost all first place in the comps' I entered, wrote two books, and I've been in a fiew movies," he said casually.
I couldn't believe my ears! After he gave me his "business" card and told me his name was Russ I took some snapshots of his famous hand-stands.

If you would like more information on Russ Howell check out his website at www.geocities.com/russhowellsite

    "You Should Be Sponsored!"

That's what I kept saying to "sponsor kid," while he air in and out of the half-pipe.
"I know, but whenever I try to they all say I'm not good enough and I need to work on my lip-tricks," he replied.
Well I'll show all those people who don't have the respect for airs that I do! I gave my phone number to that kid, and we planned to make a "sponsor me" video and finally get him a free deck every once-and-awhile!

When I was watching him skate I noticed a trick that I thought he slipped on or tripped but no, it was one he invented called, "The Micheal Jackson."

    Rhodes Skaters

A bunch of my friends were there (Rhodes skatepark) and I needed a few snap-shots for the yearbook at my school.

Overall it was a pretty good day. I got to meet a pro, a guy that should be sponsored, and a I got to hang out with a fiew friends.

    Tully Airs

Today a few of my friends and I went out to Tully skatepark to go out with a bang on our last day of Labor Day weekend. As we (Me and my friends Blake and Ben) skated into Tully many familiar faces appeared. Some were the concentrated skaters that soared out of the quarter pipes, and others were just a few guys trying to ride. Anyway, In this selections of tricks to choose from, I decided to try to "catch" some airs.

Here is a kid named Brady Bower doing a roastbeef while transfering into a halfpipe.

Lets see a biff from a few angles.

Here's another air being pulled by Andrew Boepple.

And last but definately not least here's a kid that I caught doing a huge transfer into an incline!

    Amatures At Fort Boise

Like the title says, I went to a local skatepark yesterday called Fort Boise. While I was skateing there I whitnessed some hardcore airs pulled by a guy named Chad and another kid that I didn't get the name of. So I took some pictures.
